STL Fusion is Invested in Your Success

Downtown coworking space STL Fusion opened its doors last October in the former Industrious offices. Much of the same design remains, but with more of a St. Louis focus, plus added flexibility, and an impressive list of amenities.

The STL Fusion space is home to 25 offices, open desks, conference rooms, and a large common area.

As Director Tiffany Whelehon explains, “We offer lots of flexibility because not each business has the same needs. We strive to take care of the details so the entrepreneurs can focus on running their businesses.”

STL Fusion provides a complimentary coffee bar, fresh breakfast, free beverages, and snacks each day.

The space itself is a 10,000-square-foot, third-floor office at 555 Washington Avenue downtown. The building is conveniently located next to both Metrolink and two major highways. A new restaurant, BLT (breakfast-lunch-tacos), is on the first floor of the building, making for a yummy in-house dining option.

Currently, there are a few open offices available, and coworking and dedicated desk opportunities to match your needs. Coworking memberships include amenities like 24/7 access to the building, ultra-fast internet, free printing, mail services, private phone rooms, free standard signage, cleaning services, and a FREE MONTHLY MASSAGE.

In addition to utilitarian needs, they also have regular happy hours and a variety of educational and fun member events. Having all these amenities is a huge differentiator to many of the spaces in the area.

Professional Atmosphere

Most of the companies that call STL Fusion home are further along in their startup journey and have teams of five to 12 members.

“We are a great place for teams in the in-between stages of growth. We have many members who work out of STL Fusion before going on to having their own office space,” says Whelehon.

SwipeSum, a FinTech startup from Los Angeles, relocated to St. Louis after winning an Arch Grant and found their first home in STL Fusion. The software company helps merchants save money on credit card processing. After almost a year at STL Fusion, the company announced its move to its own offices on Laclede’s Landing earlier this year.

Not all companies housed in STL Fusion are startups, the space attracts a wide variety of industries and services. Marketing firms like Gremlin Social and larger outposts of well known Silicon Valley giants also call the space home.

The diversity of businesses help spur collaboration, and with a more intimate feel than larger spaces in the area, that collaboration is a celebrated differentiator. “There is a lot of after-hours networking that goes on here, and our goal over this next year is to continue connecting with more downtown businesses,” says Whelehon.

Innovation City

It’s no secret to St. Louisans how the startup and innovation communities have helped shape this new era of growth in our region. Coworking spaces like STL Fusion enjoy being on the front lines of impacting this generation of entrepreneurs.

“We love the people who are in here and all the excitement in St. Louis around innovation,” beams Whelehon.

This kind of togetherness along with a helpful attitude promotes so many great companies to enjoy rapid success in this ecosystem. As Whelehon explains, “We don’t try to nickel and dime our companies. We are truly invested in their success.”

It’s this type of mission statement that is allowing our region to continue to move forward together and fuel more entrepreneurs toward success.
