“Show U St. Louis will be a big welcome party with a purpose,” said Greg Laposa, vice president education strategies at the Regional Chamber in a statement.

“We kept hearing from students at Washington University, St. Louis University, Webster and other schools that once they got off campus and got to know St. Louis a little better, they loved it. We want to make sure they get that chance to know our region. The festival is a snapshot of what is available in terms of career opportunities, places to live, and ways to have fun and give back to the community.”

Different activities, cultural institutions, restaurants, neighborhoods and nonprofits in St. Louis will be on display throughout the day to show off that the region is not only a great place to go to school but to plug into both during and after college.

Students can learn more about internships, jobs or volunteering at different regional organizations. EQ will be there, along with BioSTL, Downtown STL, T-REX, United Way of Greater St. Louis, Edward Jones, Better Weekdays, the Missouri History Museum, The Fox Theater, the St. Charles Community Workforce and more.
