The first Cortex restaurant week debuts on Monday, April 1st to Sunday, April 7th. Today Saturday, March 30th IKEA will kick off the celebration with free Swedish Meatballs tastings at in their store from 11am to 1pm.

Cortex Restaurant Week was created by Phyllis Ellison of Cortex and Brianna Tobias of CIC to celebrate the many amenities Cortex offers and recognize the restaurants in the immediate vicinity, plus encourage Cortex members and the general public to patronage our local eateries.

The list of restaurants participating in the inaugural celebration includes VICIA, The Chocolate Pig, Retreat Gastro Pub, Juniper, IKEA, The Scottish Arms, Lion’s Choice, Park Avenue Coffee, Scarlett’s Wine Bar, Blk Mkt Eats, Yiro/Gyro, Kaldi’s and Narwhal’s Crafted.

Each eaterie offers lunch and dinner daily specials during the week-long event.
