A Dialogue on Vehicle Automation and Community Impacts

Today, on May 7, Securing America’s Future Energy (SAFE) and the Partnership for Transportation Innovation & Opportunity (PTIO) will be holding a town hall-style event on autonomous vehicles (AVs) and their implications for roadway safety, communities, and the local workforce, among other issues.

The event will take place at The MOTO Museum (3441 Olive Street,St. Louis, MO 63103) from 8:30am under the shared umbrella of BioSTL, an organization driving innovation and the entrepreneur ecosystem in St. Louis.

The discussion will engage a broad range of Midwestern leaders in a dialogue about the full range of the impacts of AVs including: potential for positive safety, economic, and environmental impacts; AV technology; workforce implications; and strategies for managing any adverse impacts.
