Ann W. Olin Annual Lecture – Leadership by Design

The Saint Louis Art Museum is partnering with AIGA Saint Louis to present to present Maria Giudice as the Ann W. Olin Lecturer to celebrates the important role that the arts play in business and society. Giudice has pursued a vision of intelligent, elegant, people-centered design throughout her 25-year professional career. In the lecture, Giudice will share her insights on how creative leadership skills will be a hallmark for the next generation of great companies and organizations.
1 Million Cups

1 Million Cups is a free, weekly national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. This week features APP2Speak. APP2Speak™ is an augmentative and alternative communication application for the iPad to help adults communicate their wants and needs when their speech is impaired.

CoderGirl is building a network of support for aspiring female coders. Participants, ranging from beginners to long-time programmers, hone their skills alongside fellow aspiring developers and female mentors from companies like Boeing, MasterCard, and Enterprise.

Third Wednesdays: Mentors. Hear from leading executive coaches and management consultants, entrepreneurs, and transformative business advisors. This week Scott Mosher, founder of Smart Care, discusses their matching funds strategies after receiving an investment from the Missouri Technology Corporation, IDEA Fund.

The weekly Thursday Venture Cafe Gathering of innovators and entrepreneurs. A place for serendipitous collisions to occur. Each week a series of breakout sessions are planned to engage your brain and share your thoughts. This week: Teen Think Tank from SLU’s Center for Entrepreneurship. The Teen Think Tank is a quarterly event at the Venture Cafe Gathering, that allows teens an opportunity to solve real world problems for local entrepreneurs.
Kickoff Event: Legal Foundations Series with Thompson Coburn
