Venture Cafe Weekly Gathering

The weekly gathering of innovators and startups. A place for serendipitous collisions to occur. Each week there are roundtable discussions, information tables, office hours with thought leaders, and guest speakers relevant to the ecosystem. Concert in the Commons featuring Jesse Gannon and the Truth

Venture Cafe – STL is hosting its first Concert in the Commons featuring Jesse Gannon and the Truth and presented by CIC St. Louis and Wexford. Held beneath the shade structure on the Commons near the intersection of Duncan and Boyle Avenue in the Cortex district in front of @4240, the concert will include food trucks for purchase and free beverages to share. Free street parking is available or in the lots surrounding the @4240 building.and more.
Midwest Women Business Owners’ Conference

Midwest Women Business Owners’ Conference is an educational, interactive event bringing top female business owners together to reveal, discuss, and explore the findings of the WBO 360° Annual Report—the result of a 360° organizational and leadership survey distributed to, and completed by, thousands of women throughout the Midwest.
Accelerate St. Louis Ballpark Village Friday Meeting
Fri., October 23; 4-6pm
Network with St. Louis startups and investors, and enjoy complimentary appetizers and beer courtesy of the Ballpark Village Beer Man. The event will also feature a pitch contest where three selected startups will have the opportunity to give a two-minute pitch in front of judges from the St. Louis startup ecosystem and local media (including EQ’s Kelly Hamilton this week). The winner will receive a Ballpark Village prize package.

Sloup returns on Sunday, October 25, 5-7 PM, at the fabulous new Industrious Office in Downtown STL. This month’s soup sponsor is Robust Wine Bar. Sloup is a monthly gathering of friends, artists, and soup lovers. For a donation of $10 you get a bowl of soup and the chance to vote on a creative idea. Artists and activists present their proposals, the crowd votes, and the winner gets all of the money raised.
