LockerDome Growing

Speaking of expansion, St. Louis social media company LockerDome is looking to do just that in Downtown STL. The company, which currently employees 40 people at 1221 Washington Ave, forecasts it will have more than 50 employees by the end of the year, and will outgrow the space.

According to St. Louis Business Journal, CEO and co-founder Gabe Lozano is looking for a larger office space on Washington Avenue.

LaunchCode Launching New Location

LaunchCode, the St. Louis nonprofit that helps train new computer programmers, has recently secured $250,000 from the Missouri Technology Corporation. With this new funding, the company is hoping to expand to Kansas City, with the goal of launching a KC office in early 2016.

However, St. Louis Business Journal reports the company is still seeking $850,000 to facilitate further expansion. On Wednesday, July 15, there will be a public forum in Kansas City for locals to learn more about LaunchCode.
