It’s been 13 years since we launched ALIVE Media Group with the mission of inspiring St. Louisans to love their city, and we’ve become only more passionate with each passing year about telling St. Louis’ story. That one about St. Louis being an amazing place to live, work, play—and start a business.

Now more than ever, ALIVE is passionate about the city of St. Louis and supporting the innovative people and organizations that make it great. With this mission in mind, we’re proud to introduce our latest content and community-building project: EQ, a smart collection of content about and for innovators and entrepreneurs.

The story about St. Louis is shifting. It’s a destination for tech startups and makers—a place where entrepreneurs can come to create and thrive. There’s a generation of creatives charting their own paths and inspiring other generations to do the same. As entrepreneurs ourselves, we at ALIVE are completely passionate about sharing useful and inspiring stories that can help aspiring and active entrepreneurs build their companies and engage with the community and its resources. We know we sure could have used something like this 13 lucky years ago.

With that in mind, we’ve built a collective of storytelling creatives and fellow entrepreneurs to deliver online and print content—ranging from innovation and startup news to day-in-the-life entrepreneur stories and interviews—to bring St. Louis’ vibrant startup scene to life. Look for that content roll-out over the next few weeks on this blog.

The vision for EQ is to share the real journeys of local entrepreneurs as a source of inspiration in our quarterly publications and at entrepreneur-focused events to motivate and inspire St. Louis’ innovators and entrepreneurs to do their best work.
