Arch Grants Announces 10 Global Startup Competition Recipients for its Winter Class

Arch Grants, a non-profit providing $50,000 equity-free grants and pro bono support services to entrepreneurs, announces today the 10 recipients of its 2016 Winter Global Startup Competition. The official unveiling of the 2016 winter cohort will take place at the organizationโ€™s fourth annual gala this evening, which is sold out.

Theย 10 Winter 2016 Arch Grant Recipients are:

Accelerate Wind

Accelerate Wind creates novel rooftop wind energy solution providerโ€“one that operates quieter, cheaper, and more aesthetically pleasing than today’s solutions.

Exit 7C

Exit 7C is accelerating sustainable transportation with a flex-fuel conversion kit and a network of biofuel pumps that connect to an app.

Ilerasoft

Illerasoft’s software allows hospitals within the same health system to share equipment and introduce intelligence to asset utilization.

OfCourse Scheduling

Intentia Technologies provides focused technology solutions; Their product, OfCourse Scheduling, is a proven scheduling solution for higher education institutions.

Magnatone

Magnatone makes high-end guitar amplifiers in St. Louis and sell them worldwide.

NanoMetallix

NanoMetallix has developed a new class of engineered particles to enhance rocket propellants and explosive devices.

Pro-Arc Diagnostics increases access to therapy for immunocompromised patients with a unique JC virus assay.

In addition to announcingย the winter cohort at tonight’s gala,ย Arch Grants will honorย Michael Neidorff, Chairman, President, and CEO of Centene Corporation with the 2016 Arch Grants Entrepreneur Award during the event. Past awardees include Rodger Riney of Scottrade, David Steward of World Wide Technology, and Maxine Clark of Build-A-Bear.

Since the launch of Arch Grants in 2012, the competition has awarded grants to 96 early-stage businesses, and by the end of 2016 the organization will have awarded $5.2M in grants (Read more about Arch Grants’ impact over the last four years.). Recipients receive a $50,000 equity-free Arch Grant andย pro bono support services.
