A Night of Good: Industrious Happy Hour

The Industrious community brings you a happy hour and a chance to give back to an amazing local nonprofit. Meet other engaging St. Louisans over a round of 4 Hands, sweet treats from Whisk, and tasty slices from Pi Pizza. This month’s happy hour will benefit Perennial, a workshop that offers educational programming in creative reuse to diverse populations here in St. Louis. Admission to this happy hour is free (with a recommended donation of $5). All donations will go directly to Perennial, who will be on site crafting with guests and talking more about the amazing work they do at their community workshop. More info here.

Mappy Hour: Connecting Talent With Opportunity

GEOx is excited to connect local talent with opportunities in the geospatial industry with a “Mappy Hour” networking event. Students are invited to participate in discussions with industry leaders from 3-5pm, then network with food and cocktails from 5-7pm. Don’t forget to register with the USGIF before the event. Prosper Women Entrepreneurs Office Hours / After Hours

Join us for an opportunity to interact with scientists & researchers in the St. Louis area at a networking event hosted by the Danforth Center’s Committee for Scientific Training & Mentoring. There will be a career panel and discussion followed by a job fair and networking session. GlobalHack VI

It’s finally upon us. GlobalHack’s sixth annual hackathon will bring together software developers, graphic designers, technologists and entrepreneurs from around the world to solve a civic technology problem centered around homelessness. Participants divided into youth, collegiate and pro divisions will work in teams building solutions over the course of the weekend for a chance to win $1 million in cash prizes.
