1 Million Cups
Oct. 7; 9 – 10 am
Tuition Heroes will present on their mission to reward performance of higher education institutions for their tuition control to a diverse audience of mentors, advisors, and entrepreneurs.
Startup Wednesdays at OPO
Oct. 7; 6:30 – 9 pm
Founder Paul Heirendt will share insights from his experiences with Skejul, TradeHabor, XLR8 and more.
ITEN at Venture Café
Oct. 8; 3 pm – 8 pm
At this month’s takeover, featured ITEN programming includes a panel discussion entitled “Exploring Best Practices: Engaging a Mentor,” an Investor Roundtable featuring Prosper Women Entrepreneurs, Office Hours by ITEN and 100 people in 100 days.
West End Lofts Happy Hour/Open House in the Cortex Innovation District
Oct. 8; 5- 7 pm
For those considering living in the heart of the Cortex Innovation District, West End Lofts’ happy hour and open house is a great place to start.
Gateway to Future
Oct. 9; 8 am – 12 pm
This half-day summit will feature noted St. Louisans like Tara Pham, Edward Domain, Cara Spencer and more who will discuss leading themes impacting St. Louis and young people today.
Masters of Code
Oct. 10; 9 am – 6 pm
AngelHack and MasterCard have partnered for Masters of Code, a global FinTech series where developers, designers and entrepreneurs use the MasterCard APIs to create masterful prototypes that demonstrate coding and design skills, while articulating clear business cases. Winners from STL—one of only three U.S. cities hosting the event—will be flown to Silicon Valley to compete at the grand finale for $100,000.
WU-STL Startup Training Lab: Commercial and Social Ventures
Oct 11; 12 pm – 4 pm
A free, non-credit workshop designed to encourage ideas and help entrepreneurs develop their skills and advance their ideas.
